Final degree project consisting of a new branding for the Catalan Lupus Association and the creation of a book explaining in a simple and graphic way how the illness works. The goal was to find a design solutions that helped the illness become known, counting the lack of interest in reading medicine content by common people. But also helping the patients and their families and friends to understand better the illness and live with it.
The result was so successful that in collaboration with the Catalan Lupus Association and Hospital Clínic (one of the biggest hospitals in Barcelona) the project became true with a first print edition with 500 copies in 2014. Since then it has been translated to spanish and it has been several more print editions with other spanish associations and the spanish lupus federation with more than 5000 copies printed.
